events (including on-site registration) will be distributed electronically
and posted on this web page.
Preregistered participants will also receive campus and area maps and a
preliminary program.
In keeping with SEARCDE's charter, the organizing committee invites
graduate students and recent Ph.D. recipients (those having received their
degrees within the past three years) to participate in the conference and
to apply for financial support (contingent upon availability of funds). To
maximize the number of individuals receiving support, all applicants are
encouraged to consider economy travel, including double occupancy in hotel
rooms and surface travel where feasible. Priority will be given to
eligible applicants planning to present a talk at the conference. Also,
we strongly encourage women and members of minority and other currently
underrepresented groups to participate (and to apply for financial support
if otherwise eligible). Prospective participants with disabilities are
encouraged to contact us regarding special accommodations that we may be
able to provide during the conference.
