Diagram showing: protein is made by rough endoplasmic reticulum; this protein enters small vesicles and travels to the Golgi Apparatus and enters. The Golgi modifies the protein, carbohydrate may be added to it. Finally, when the protein is considered “finished”, it exits the Golgi via vesicles and can then be secreted from the cell.
